You never know what could possibly happen when you introduce animals from different species to each other. Will they fight? Will they eat each other? Will the house be in complete shambles after the introduction?
Interestingly, those who’ve experienced doing this say that the first meeting is not as bad as they thought it would be. In fact, the animals surprisingly get along despite their differences. Some even form instant connections and they end up treating each other as family.
Adorable fur family
This was what Bailey experienced when he met a group of baby bunnies. He immediately grew fond of them and he didn’t mind being their temporary surrogate father. He instantly hung out with them. It was like they were reunited after being separated for an awfully long time!
Now, this fondness wasn’t one-sided at all. In fact, the bunnies fell in love with Bailey the moment they saw him. They quickly snuggled up to him and made him feel that he was the world’s best dad!
The owners of the fur family were surprised when they saw how the animals didn’t have a hard time getting a long. They were expecting a few bites and snarls to happen, but they had none of that. Instead, they witnessed all animals being all lovey-dovey towards each other.
Paternal instincts
What Bailey’s fur parents also found interesting was how quick it was for his paternal instincts to kick in. The moment he saw the bunnies, he knew they needed the nurturing of a parent. It didn’t matter to him that they were from a different species. All he cared about was being the father that the bunnies needed.
The first meeting of the fur family was all about love and acceptance. Luckily, their fur parents remembered to grab their camera and take a video of the whole thing! Check it out:
