Pumpy Tudors, a member of the Tennessee Highway Patrol Group, is one kind soul. This is because he rescued a poor dog that was fighting for her life on an interstate. During that day, the heat index was recorded at 96 degrees, which is fatal for humans and animals.
When Tudors saw the white dog, he did not hesitate to provide a helping hand. The officer immediately went near the dog and gave her something to drink. The dog looked harmless as she did not refuse help even from a stranger like Tudors.
According to Tudors, it was human instinct to help that kicked in when he saw the dog. The kind man does not know how the dog got there, but he never hesitated to help her. Upon realizing that the dog could not help herself, Tudors pulled a chair and sat beside the dog to establish trust.
He then held an umbrella to shade the dog from the sun’s heat. After giving the dog enough water, Tudors offered her snacks which he kept inside his vehicle. This was his way of helping the dog regain her strength.
After getting the dog’s trust and confidence, Tudors picked her up and carried her to his vehicle. He then brought her to the Cleveland TN Animal Control, where the volunteers named her Princess.
Princess spent at least a week inside the animal control to have her wounds treated. When Tudors returned, the dog was on her way to recovery. After learning this, the officer decided to adopt the dog for good because he knows he can take care of Princess.
Tudors shared that he formed a good bond with Princess, so he would like to provide the dog with a good life. The officer received the green light from the volunteers to adopt Princess. Before leaving the shelter, Tudors thanked the volunteers for helping Princess recover.
