There’s something sweet about a small puppy getting a big, burly man all emotional. It’s precisely what happened when this male pug was given as a gift to his hooman dad.
The video clip started with a view of the furball being carried by his human mom. She told the camera what was going on, explaining that the pup’s a gift for her husband.
Upon their arrival, this wife called out and asked where her husband was. He was sitting and working in the house, and his face got all scrunched up with emotion when he saw what his wife brought.
You see, he recently lost a pug who was his buddy for eleven years. Sadly, the pup passed, so naturally, he grieved the loss of his pet.
No more tears now, dad! Now you have a brand new puppy who adores you – we could tell by all those licks and kisses. This pet’s new dad held him close while he asked his wife a ton of questions.
In the end, he said that it’s a great surprise – we figured that too, given his display of emotions. Now, it wouldn’t be too lonely for him to sit out because he just got a new son!
The male pug made the surprise sweeter, wagging his tail the moment he saw his dad. It’s like something told him he was home, and he was gonna be loved and cared for like no other.
You’re right about that, pet; get ready for a ton of attention and belly rubs from your new parents. Amazingly, they found you at just the right moment; otherwise, your dad would have remained sad a bit longer.
