People are finding clever ways of amusing themselves at home due to the ongoing outbreak worldwide. However, others are finding ways to entertain themselves, with the help of their adorable dogs, of course! A bored dog owner taught his pet some cool new tricks — including the game of tic tac toe.
Andy Imbimbo, a 31-year-old Youth pastor from Union, New Jersey, uploaded some clips of his Goldendoodle, Dundie, in social media that made them instant viral. The pastor used his self-isolation time to train his mini dog in mastering the game of tic tac toe.
Andy challenged his pooch by laying out a tic tac toe grid on the floor, then he put a treat in each box. In that way, Dundie can choose his squares. The mini Goldendoodle eats the treat in the box of his liking when it’s his turn. Andy uses his black marker to draw each of their symbols.
And to our surprise, the smart doggy bests his owner in a match of “noughts and crosses”. A lot of people are delighted by their clip, especially by the pup’s impressive new skill.
If Dundie seems familiar, it’s because he first appeared in a series of videos showcasing his skills of leaping over hurdles. Andy and his wife took out toilet papers and stacked them up as obstacles in the pup’s way. In the first round, the mini dog effortlessly jumps over it. As the level progresses, it becomes more interesting. Dundie shows his amazing skills that impress a lot of people.
This act of playing these games with your pets has become new trends on social media. Pet owners have been testing it out with their cats, dogs, rabbits, etc. It’s a fun way to pass the time while waiting for this pandemic to be finally over.
