Maple is an energetic dog. She is regularly doing outdoor activities, such as snowboarding, swimming, and running around. Since Maple is obviously busy and spends a lot of time outdoors, her mom, Jessica Dylan Mann, decided to give her some gear to help keep her happy and safe during her adventures.
Mann said she wanted to buy a pair of goggles because Maple swims totally underwater with her eyes wide open. Also, Maple is always hanging out of the car window or doing activities. Therefore, on a Black Friday, they bought goggles on sale.
Mann began letting Maple put on goggles every time she thought she needs to use one for extra eye protection. One day, after a heavy snowstorm, Mann tried putting them on her dog while playing on the snow. She fastened it on Maple and took her outside. When the very excited dog realized she could “see” under the snow with her goggles, she completely went crazy.
Maple was more than excited, and like a gopher, she quickly started tunneling through the snow, definitely very happy to explore a whole other world. Whenever she showed up again, it’s so obvious that she’s the happiest and couldn’t wait to plunge back in for more.
According to Mann, when Maple noticed she could see under, you could really see in her body language and face how happy and excited she was to have fun and explore something. Maple always loves the snow. However, Mann has never seen her do the tunnel-like thing with her new goggles.
The goggles have helped the dog find and enjoy a brand-new way to play outside, especially in the snow. Now, Maple loves putting her goggles on before going to any outdoor activity.
Mann said when she says, “Ready for goggles!?” Maple would suddenly come over her running and then patiently sit for her to put them on.
