Meet Kupata, a stray dog that has proven that just because he doesn’t have a home does not mean he can’t show a lot of love. In fact, Kupata loves people, especially children. That’s why he has designated himself as the neighborhood crossing dog – the one that helps kids cross the pedestrian lane safely.
It all started one day, in a small town in Batumi, Georgia, when a lady named Beqa Tsinadze was walking in the busy streets across a school when she noticed a street dog that showed unusual behavior. She saw that the black and white spotted stray dog was helping kids get to school by accompanying them to cross the street.
Beqa was amazed and she simply admired how adorable the dog was. When she came back another day, she saw that the dog was back in action. He was on the same street doing the same thing.
Locals have given him the name Kupata. They have shared that every morning, he would come back to the same busy street and would greet the kids going to school with constant jumps and happy barks. Then the dog would accompany them while they pass the pedestrian lane, going back and forth tirelessly until every kid has safely arrived at school. He would sometimes even bark aggressively at irresponsible drivers who ignore the traffic laws, even chasing some of them if they aren’t careful.
According to some witnesses, Kupata arrived in the neighborhood a few years ago. Because of his kind acts, residents have provided the dog with food and shelter.
Because of the people’s generosity, they believe that Kupata expresses his gratitude by always paying forward the same acts of kindness he receives. And witnessing just how much the stray dog is adored by the citizens, it seems his presence has definitely made their lives better!
